This Weimar Era German Tattoo Stencil seems to reference the mania surrounding the discovery of King Tut's Tomb in 1922. Very unusual subject matter.

This stencil is part of a large collection amassed by a private collector in the 1940s and 50s. It was acquired from his estate in 1990.
